Do I cut it now? It's done growing, I may have a mouse under it too, I'm not sure. There was a hole in the sand. If I cut it, do I pull it out of the patch and store it in my pole barn? Weighoff is end of Sept.

jeff, that looks like a skin crack, sulfur it and it should be ok. as for the hole in the sand, i sometimes have toads bury them selves in the sand around my kin. if your really worried, dig under the kin and try and see if you can feel a soft spot, then just refill with sand. were gloves incase that mouse is home :). ive actually have had to do that before.

also, tell your loved ones where your at, incase you dig to big of a hole and kin falls on it :) good luck

I felt into the hole as far as I could, moving sand. Didn't feel anything.
