This kin has a fruit stem thicker than the main vine already. See diary. But it has a shallow split showing in its stem. How bad is this? I just pollinaded 6loab 6' further out on same main vine. Thanks in advance

It appears the split is coming from tension, from twist. The split may or may not increase in size.

Check this out, I´ve had similar things happen in the past, but since I have seen how well the plants and fruit and stems can cope with that kind of splits, they won´t cause me any sleepless nights.
