How much merit to use in a gallon garden sprayer?Can I use this application (sprayer)for a soil drench on each pumpkin hill?Since it is systemic,when flowers bloom,will it kill or deter bees from pollinating?Thank you in advance its a lot of questions.

1/2 to 1 teaspoon per gal, you can use merit as a contact or a systemic. It will kill bees. It would be best to pull unnecassary flowers off, but be careful not to pull all them all off at time of pollination. Ive done it it sucks :)
