Ants and stink bugs are attacking the main stem of my big pumpkins. They burrow in and the stem starts oozing and then they cut the stem off. I used Sevin dust but can't get it locally right now so switched to Sevin liquid and Sevin granular but not much luck. How often should I reapply? Anything else I should be trying?

Thanks. Placed an order. Hopefully it will save my remaining plants.

we spray evey 5-6 days...alternate the liquid seven and bifen (bug be gone)...we also give the Bayer tree and shrub (merit) every three weeks for the bugs that bite the plant. Takes care of our bug problems in NY.. good luck!

Porkchop, when you apply the Bayer T&S every 3 weeks, do you foliar apply it or do you drench apply it?
