I was wondering if anyone knew what may cause a bright yellow spot on my first true leaf. It's rather large an irregular in shape. There is even a hole in the middle. There are no insects on the stem or leaves that I can see. The plant was in a protective plastic greenhouse 4Wx6'Lx4'H.
I took the greenhouse off now. The temperatures have been in the low to mid 80's for a couple of weeks. Is it possible that it got burned inside the greenhouse? (sunburned?) The plant has 6 leaves now and only one other leaf has Yellow and only a small amount (it's the second true leaf if that matters). The plant has new growth that looks fine. Any input would be appreciated, I'm only on my second try/second year and I have much to learn.
Thank you.

This is fairly common especially on plants that haven't been acclimated but rather were moved out into the real world quickly. Some plants just seem to develope small yellow spots regardless of what we do. usually they are not a problem. Are pictures of these up?

Thank you for your information. I don't have pictures on the site (don't own a digital camera and haven't had other film developed yet). I only had the plants outside 5 days before planting them in their permanent location. I hope it doesn't slow my plant growth down - my husband's plant is growing faster!!! (smile)
