I was viewing alot of the patch updates,and on some of the closer closups i see alot of darker and lighter looking leafs kinda blotchy looking in and out of the veins and throughout the whole leaf,the reason i mention it is because i have them too seems to be only on the first 4 or 5 original leafs the new growth is looking better,anyone have any ideas as to why this happens?John

i have no idea why, but i had it on one plant, the
1082 curry. the first 4 or 5 leaves had lighter color
sections in parts of the leaves and the veins were
darker green than the rest of the leaves. i took it as
a sign the plant needed a boost and gave it some neptures
fish and seaweed along with some peters 20 20 20 at only
one tbs spoon per gallon. the new leaves are now
evenly green and the others are getting more even day
by day and the lighter colors are getting darker green.
i am not sure if it is genetic or if it needed the boost,
but it is my best grower with a 42" vine on day 30 so
it hasn't effected the overall growth of the plant
in my case.

Thanks shazzy,going to give them some 20-20-20 tomorrow,i thought it might be cold nights and abundent nitrogin,but a little boost wouldent hurt im sure.thanks john

Cool damp soil conditions slow the natural bacterial release of soil held nutrients. Foliar applied soluble will compensate for this until soils get working on their own.
