I just found a whole flock of cucumber beetles in my Giant Sunflowers. I'm in Northern California and am wondering where I can get Merit...or Warrior T? I'll use Sevin for now, but don't want to continually be spraying insecticides this summer.

Warrior is restricted use, and if you have your applicator's license, your local farm supply store should have it.

Tremor had recommended Talstar awhile back, and that is what I chose to use this year. As I understand it, it is the next generation insecticide beyond the chemical in Warrior T, and it is not restricted use, at least not in Nebraska. I bought it at Lesco, but Rosemania.com sells it as well, although RoseMania sells it by the quart and I was able to buy by the pint at Lesco for $43.50.
