I think I have a raccoon nibling on the ends of some of my vines (I saw it's poop in the yard). It terminated my main on the 1097.5 Beachy for me. No big deal, it was at about 22 ft. and I was going to terminate it myself soon, but I don't want any further damage. I have a live trap. Whats a good bait to put in it. Also, is there something I can spray on the ends of the vines to deter further nibbling?

Sprinkle a little cayenne powder on the leaves, and whatever's eating them will stop. You could bait your trap with pruned tips from your plants, since you know it likes them. I suspect a groundhog.

P.S.
If you want to trap a raccoon, use sardines!

Eggs and cat food work also for raccoons.

Spot light, 22 rifle, and sum patience works for me.
