The undersides of my leaves have begun to be a real hangout for these small black aphid looking things (maybe that means they're aphids?). I have a pic posted in my diary, as I skipped entomology class in school. I began spraying with an insecticidal soap (Safer's End-All) a few weeks ago, and since then, the numbers of these bugs have tripled. Anyone have any suggestions? Sevin, perhaps?

They showed up here last week. Hit them with Neem oil late in the day, make sure to get good coverage on the underside of the leaves.

Those things look like scale. But scale aren't usually clumped together like that. They are usually spread randomly across the leaves, stems, etc.
