Hello, when using Merit what do you for the bees and other pollinating insects when flowers appear? Do you back off of application, root and/or foliar, while they are around? Do you cover and hand-pollinate? Does Merit enter the pollen too?

Its my understanding and what I've seen it doesn't seem to effect bees I use the granular form of merit.I'm pretty sure merit doesn't make it ot the fruit.

We apply liquid Merit as a drench only to the rootzone. So no Merit migrates to the pollen despite some claims to the contrary.

Broadcast sprays of all insecticides should be made at sundown when the Bees have already called it a day. Thus when they begin collecting fresh pollen the next day, no isecticide has contacted it.

Daytime insect (or disease) spraying can not only decimate local Bee populations, but can also burn the plants unneccesarily.
