I planted 180 Hills of JackoLantern Pumpkins in Utah. The rows are 10 feet apart and hills 5 feet apart down the rows (50 sq feet each hill). I plan to keep 3 plants per hill. How many pumpkins should I expect to get per plant & about what size? Should I cut back how many each plant tries to produce?

the ones i have raised usually had 3-4 on each vine, one question though.. do you always plant jackolaterns this early? i did that one year and about 75% of my crop rotted waiting for halloween..since then i usually plant on or about the 24th of june..

For the Utah climate yes. I have never planted this many, but local farmers plant at this time....so it should be ok to plant by now.
