I regularly get email from people saying "you sent me a virus". The Klez virus sends email from one PC but it makes it look like it came from another. Someone who has my email address in their address book DOES have the virus. Since I am the co-webmaster of BigPumpkins.com that means 6000 people have me in there address book. Also, I NEVER send attachments to users of this site. So if you EVER get an email from a bigpumpkins.com email address with an attachment DELETE it without opening it. If you don't already have virus protection you should get some. I use Norton Anti-virus and it works well. For more information on the Klez virus see this page on Symantec's site: http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.klez.h@mm.html

I also use norton anti virus. I sometimes can't believe how many viruses it catches. The Klez virus seems to be popular these days.

If you want to have a personal firewall to control your PC´s internet activities, use ZoneAlarm. It´s free and does a very good job. If you want to surf safe & sound, download the Opera browser. Again, it´s free. If you want to avoid a virus sent by email, avoid Outlook Express. That´s all I can say from my personal experience.

I use Systemsuite 4.0......it's a complete utilities suite, plus Trend Micro anti-virus protection, and the "net defense" firewall.......all in one package! I love it!
