Ken or John how long do you have to wait for the diary entry to post I tried to post a picture of my patch then just a message neither have made it through and it's been 8 hrs.

Hi Jeff,

Our stated goal is to approve any entries within 24 hours. However, we almost always do it much more quickly. Sometimes we approve them so fast people have the allusion that they are automatically approved.

We are working on a new process for uploading images to the Grower Diary section of the site. One of the other changes we have in store is auto-approval. This will mean real time updates for “trusted” members.

Although we have not every had any objectionable images uploaded to the site, we realize it is only a matter of time before someone does this. Being a family friendly web site, we must guard against it.

On another note, Jeff, we think it is great that you bought a digital camera to upload photos to the diary section. Thanks for supporting the site!

Please feel free to offer up any other suggestions to the Diary Section as we are in the process of rebuilding it for 2001…

Thanks for posting my entry , like I said I hada new camera and wasn't sure if I was doing it right. I understand the need for screening the post as I have two daughters, who by the way think it's cool to have our backyard online . More pics to come .
