I have one software component on the server to update before the seed request page can come back on-line. This update will require that I bring the site down for a short period. I will be doing this update first thing in the morning tomorrow 10/31.

Yes, it was, but it wasn't related to my updates. One of our server logs filled up and needed to be reset. Sometimes people just don't realize how much work it is to keep a site this size up and running. Especailly in our "spare" time. This is a hobby for us folks. This site provides a ton of information and a great place for pumpkin growers all over the world to meet, talk and learn.....all for FREE. Please keep this in mind and cut us some slack.

Don't even worry about it Ken. The site is never down very much anyway, and the few times it is down is a small price to pay for this service. Now if everyone gets over to the merchandise page and gets a t-shirt, that should help a little.
Thanks once again Ken...

Employed? Are you kidding? BigPumpkins.com was developed and is owned by John and me. We have no employees nor do we get any kind of salary or payment of any kind. Everything we make on merchandise of affilliate earnings goes back into the site. We have no paid advertising on the site either. We can't stand popup ads and won't do them. The costs include hardware, software, the PO Box, the domain name fees, etc. Luckily, we get our bandwidth paid for by our company, Software Impressions. Without Software Impressions we would be forced to go subscription. So if you have or know of companies looking for web development pass them on to Software Impressions. Then you can have John and I develop YOUR website!

And you're doing an amazing job. It's good to see people doing something for the love of it, and not for money!!!
