Ken or John,
I have a promblem... When I check in on the site it gives me the list of new items. The list is fine, but when i hit the back button after viewing one of the messages, photos, or diaries ect.... my computer takes me back to the page that has a different list on it..(everything new from 10/20/01)... it always has 2 new messages in "general discussion" and 1 new message in "seed exchange".
I don't know if it is a problem with my computer or with the site. I am a novice when it comes to this computer stuff. And I hope I explained the problem clearly enough so that you all can understand it. I figured that y'all could tell me what was going wrong... or what i was doing wrong:)
Thanks Justin
P.S. Is anyone else having this problem or is it just me?

....one other thing to cahnge or add...... when I check the site now the "new items" seem to be everything accumulated from 10/20/01 to now.... the list keeps building it doesn't take away the items that were new the last time I visited the site.....or something like that.
Thanks Justin

Hmmm...
It sounds like you are loosing your cookie, or you have your Browser set to not accept cookies.
That is why the main page cannot "identify" you and present what's new for you. It assumes you are not a registered user.
What Browser and version are you using?

I lost my cookies once at a Bruce Springsteen concert....boy was that a bad night. In hindsight I probably should've skipped that last pint. Don't remember it affecting my computer...of course back then I was probably still working on the Timex Sinclair and Al Gore was still developing the Internet.

Nothing could be worse than the show I had to take my wife to while we were dating. Rusted Root? Up until that moment I had never heard of them and I wish there was a way to wipe that experience from my memory now. I'm not sure what kind of music that was supposed to be but the place was full of a bunch of young hippie-wannabees. Apparently it was some kind of trendy college music. Anyway, call me a redneck but I don't think it's really a rock concert unless there are a bunch of groupies flashing the band.

pappy, I checked out the allman brothers.... i did really care too much for'em though.... But creedence clearwater revival..... i really liked them... As for ozzy... well he bit the head off a bat, but his music has a slight resemblance to some of motzart's and beethoven's masterpieces. Crazy Train... and suicide solution have many of the same chords, and timbre as beethoven's 5th, and motzart's 40....

Thought I had better chime in on this one- aint no better feeling than throwing the slipknot/mudvayne/or system of a down disc in the spinner and head out to the patch to pull some weeds. The weeds and bugs dont stand a chance when i get pumped up on that stuff. I have a feeling there arent too many growers rocking out to that heavy stuff, and vice versa.

Oooo Iron Maiden. That brings back some disjointed memories. I have to admit that I've never even heard of slipshod or mudbiscuit so I listened to a few tracks online. Reminds me of the 80's punk like Skinny Puppy. Jeff352, its like Maiden minus Satan.
