I saw a wooden device that you wrap newspaper around and it creates a pot for planting seeds. Has anyone ever tried using paper pots? If so did it work well for you?... Tom

here's a cheap way to do the newspaper pot deal cut both ends out of a soup can or just about any can double the newspaper you'll have to cut the paper down to a workable size for that can lay it over one end and with a slightly smaller dowel or rod shaped object push the paper down into the can fold the top of the paper down over the can then with your rod shaped piece push the can down onto the rod gently and your paper pot comes out a little fine trimming and your ready for potting mix and seeds it takes a few practic runs to figure out how hard you can push the paper and the proper size needed for that can don't use to big of a can wet paper falls apart and wet soil gets heavy you could have a pot fall apart and loose a plant
