How many of you already checked their own 2004 seeds? I just did and had 4/4 germinated from 2 pumpkins in about 48 hours (from seeds not looking too good).
I think it´s good to know before sending out seeds to other growers.

I did mine and got 6/6. Even the ones that were really cracked badly on the face of the seed did well.

I have been doing testing and my results have not been as good as I would like. Would you let me know what you did to get 100% germination. Bill

BillF---have a look a tht efirst few entries in my pumpkinpal2 diary. my Germ-Bucks have given me
very very high percentage of germination success!
it would be some work, yes, maybe even labor-intensive, to make one of these buckets, a four-seater, but i have four of them now and they work great! i myself would like to hear a few methods all in one spot though, for i can try them too, while i wait for my Speed Sprout to work...eric

I put my seeds in a wet paper towel(folded once) inside a sealed baggie. The baggie is placed on top of my computer with a temperature of 84 degrees (computer remains on).

Between 24-48 hours (some take longer) the majority have sprouted. When the pumpkin tail comes out I put them in potting soil.
