I'm wondering how long it takes for a pre-spouted seed to form it's first true leaf, after being planted in a pot. I'm trying to decide when to start germination.

I think that my test seeds may have developed slower than others I've seen on this site. But, if you check out my diary, I've documented their growth with lots of pictures. They've been in their pots for about 13 days now and their true leaves are about 2-3" across.

Doug,
my 03 diary shows how long it was for me that year...
Apr 25 - started seeds Apr 28 to May 1- seeds germinated May 9th - Transplanted ... I could have done this a few days earlier with a couple of the plants. One had a 2nd true leaf, others were just showing the 1st.
