One of my primary seeds did not germinate. It was in the pot for four days and a check revealed that no rooting was taking place. I removed it from the seed coat, and examined the embryo. The radicle tip area is brown, the rest of the seed is white. I placed the embryo back into the pot. The starting mix was used on three seeds, and the other two are coming up nicely. Is this seed a gonner? It was not soft, and did not smell, but did appear to be very thin, as compared to other seeds I have removed from their coats.

If the cots are really pale white, then they may be rotten. Good Luck!
