On Feb13 I planted 3 seeds in a milk carton. (Last frost is 1week away. All three seedlings are growing well,but soon I must pull one or two. How can I do this but not injure the plant I want to keep. They are regular pumpkins,not Atlantic giants

You don't have to pull out the ones you don't need. Just pinch them off at the ground....
