I'm looking for some input on what the best water to use when starting my seeds for this year. Should I use tap water , spring water , well water , or distilled water..... Good luck this year!!

I would use well water that is what the pumpkin is going to be drinking all year.

hoppy, getting to technical. Simple tap H2O is fine. The amount used is minimal. Just let it warm to room temp or slightly higher and you'll do fine.Pumpkinpiper

i agree pumpkinpiper. Simple sink water is fine. It seems lots of people make any kind of gardening difficult. Some plants do require certain attention, but for the most part its all basic gardening.Too much this, too much that,
n-p-k. In my early years when I was so anxious to get that garden going I would often fail. Someone once told me if you try to hard you will fail. No sense in worryin how deep you plant or whatever. Drop your seed in a hole and run your hand over it.

no disrespect to you hoppy or anyone else- I just believe ya take a deep breath, relax, and let mother nature do most of the work. Good luck to all!

That is true, but the key is if you fail by trying to hard, next time cut back a little. Don't push the envelope as hard, stay within the boundaries, but push it to it full potential. Every thing in this world has different difficulty levels and only you can take it to a level that you can handle. I know sometimes we get over our heads and some times fail . But failure is the best learning tool out there ( good old hands on experience). I'm still new at this hobby / sport and in my past with anything I do I found that if you're going to do something, give it you're all ( 110 %). If not "than don't do it at all". I like to step up, take the rains and I don't count on mother nature for it all. This is only my opinion, I'm not trying to disrespect anyone by no means. Thanks for you're input & good luck this year to all of you!!!!!
