If you had some older seeds, that had a history of being difficult to germinate, and you realy wanted to grow them, what technique would you use? Is the advanced seed starting method(peeling away the outer shell, I think) a good method to consider in this situation?

I've tried that, really it makes no difference, or it's worse because you can damage the seed more easily. I'm going to be dealing with some very old seeds this spring. What I hear needs to happen is that they go to a lab. I'm going to try some top local colleges. AleX Noel.
