Barry is growing big this year in Colorado, long time Colorado Grower back in the 80's. He wanted me to ask if the 723's or 845 Bobiers seeds hard to get started like the 1068's....no he doesnt have one but I told him I would ask the ? for him. Barry is growing a 424 Scherber and a 1105 Glasier.

Gary,
The 723 & 845 are getting old. I never tried the 723 but I started two 845's in 2005 & had major trouble with one of them despite a 95% success rate with all of the others that year. These seeds were very carefully stored in a dedicate seed freezer so I couldn't have asked for better specimens to try starting.
If this fellow has properly stored genetics like this, he might want to grow or trade them soon. The 845 has been declining in auction value these past 2 years & neither has grown anything of note lately.

Gary,
I started 3 seeds last sunday night in germination box at 85 degrees. They were 845 Bobier,1314 Beauchemin, and a 1081 Leonzi. The 845 is the first one showing signs of life and should be breaking through the soil anytime now. If stored properly I would think they could go 10 years in storage with out any problems.
