Its in a coffee can, it is or was about 8 inches tall with the first 2 big leaves on it, this morning it was lying over from growing too fast and tall, should I let it stay like this, go ahead and plant it or try and prop it up?

Id plant it and put it deep right up two the leaves and it should be just fine probally a strong grower.

Did you give it to much water?

I'm with Jason. These plants have a knack for healing themselves.

Plant it, right up to the bottom of the cots, what was you lighting situation for the new plant...sounds like light source to weak, or too far away from sprout. Peace, Wayne
PS...if going outside it needs to stay sorta warm...no idea where you are growing??? And sorta shaded if in southern climes. Too much sun at once can burn it up.

It sounds like the light level was too low.
