here's a tip,,,there is a "search box" on the top righthand corner of the page, enter any questions there and read the results. Then read all the diary's (for all the years) and the message boards. That should get you through umm,,say January,,,then buy the "How to Books" 1,2,and 3,,read those and you'll be ready to ask any further questions here about March.

Go ahead and ask away right here its fine. Its how I got started. Come into chat and ask questions most are here to help new growers. Keep asking your Questions its what keeps this site going and helps some growers feel all smart LOL. First things first start by asking if there is a club in your area you can join and most clubs have there own little websites with advice for local growers.Read the books those are great for new growers. Number one thing don't be afraid to ask any questions right here its how we all learned. Most of all have fun growing big.

Hey folks, first time planting pumpkin seeds. Bought giants. I have been looking at videos on how to place seeds on mound. I saw a couple of different ways. Just placing on top of hill and covering and also making several holes on top of hill and placing seeds in holes. if you do it the latter, how many seeds do you place in each hole and is one way better than the other.
Thanks, Manny
