Has anyone tried using CO2 in their coldframes to give plants a extra boost. Normal everyday air is about 330ppm... plants can easily take 3 times this amount and absolutely flourish....especially when the air inside is nice and warm.

CO2-enhancement system, COULD cause health problems for you ,lol,
AND>>>>>>>>>>>>>in the even that CO2 is heavier than
regular air, it may get down into the soil and kill
anything that doesn't live on CO2 (worms?)

Yes, and the 763 Biss was a result of this effort by a creative Washington grower. So go ahead and create more of that wonderful greenhouse gas which contributes so much to global warming, brought to us by the same people who brought us the Y2K crisis. It will make your pumpkins grow better and their seeds will produce super progeny and the Northwest passage will be open and coastal real estate will be available in places you could never get it before. Why I may do it myself this year.

It works for people who grow dope, it should work for any plant. If it is to be effective you need your greenhouse to be sealed up from outside air... But roots like O2 so too much CO2 in the envornment might stunt the growth of your roots... there it many variables to think about, but it's worth a try, in fact I'm planing on trying it this year if i have the time. There are propane and natural gas burners made for this application (if your think you might blow yourself up with a home made contraption), and CO2 testers, all for sale at hydroponics stores.

Oh, another though, if your patch is close to your house and you have a gas or propane water heater you could run the chimney (maybe with a little blower) into your green house. This way your reducing your everyday contribution to global warming. But please don't burn your house down, or invite the fire marshal over for diner.
