I was wondering how long yall will try to germinate a seed until ya give up. Ive had one seed now germing for 7 days and nothing. Using the same germ method ive had others pop up in two. Just curious when do ya throw in the towel on a seed and move on???

I'll probably be the only one with a 1041 that did not germinate. 6 days and waiting. So sad....

We had an 845 Bobier take 12 days to pop. That was the longest for me so far.

11 days. I don't give up until the seed is mush or smells like really dirty socks. Thats not to say I don't prepare along the way.....after about 6 days I start some of my own seeds. If, after 10 days the prime seed isn't up Ill decide whether theres enough time/ or adequate backup in the seedbox or just go with the Andrews seed.

If it's not up in a week I use a backup I've already started or get one started, maybe one of those Andrews seeds I never get around to planting. Maybe if someone got a big one from it first I might give them a try.

Jason, I havent started my seeds yet. Im chomping onthe bit tho..I would wait and see..what about the heat, is it too wet..dry..Are you using the paper towel method or directly into a pot? Is the paper turning color, like moldy...just some thoughts...be sure to let us know. Croley
