I put my seeds in the germination chamber yesterday morning and before I knew it the temp was over 100...did I just cook my seeds? I surely hope not. Any advise. I usually have germination in 24 hours, but no germination today.

Hey Jason, guess I didnt cook them after all, I started three seeds and today, one is sprouted and planted, one is just about breaking open and the other well, no movement yet. What I use is just an regular heating pad. I put a board down, then the heating pad, then a towel foled a couple of times and then a large soft cover book. Inside this book I place my zip lock wth the seeds in moist paper towels. I try to find the proper amount of pages to absorb the heat between the heat on the bottom and the ziplock bag. Last night I made sure the seeds were about 80 degrees...I use a meat thermometer, the kind that starts at 0 and goes to 220 degrees. I bot it at Big Lots for $3, you can order them from a catalog for $8 if you want..lol Good Luck and as they say...Grow Em Big. Stevann
