Would humidity in the germination chamber(a plastic cooler) be bad or good? I am using a fish tank heater submeged in a couple of inches of water to heat the cooler and it is working well, but of course it is moist in there. The plant pots will sit on a glass tray completely out of the water.

Since many growers place plastic wrap over their containers until the seeds germinate to hold in moisture, I think you’ll be okay. Make sure to not let the soil be too moist though or else you’ll rot the seed. Practice on a ton of old seeds, that way you'll be ready to go once the time comes.

Thanks, I'll put a piece of plastic wrap over the pot to test how much condensation might be getting into the soil. Hopefully it will be none to extremely little. If there is a lot of moisture then I'll try just leaving the plastic there to exclude the water from the pots.
