Was wondering on start times. When should the pear gourds be started? Is it the same as Giants or more similar to Fields? I would like to start growing them this year and am not sure about them.

Depends on if you are giving them a hoop house. Gourds like a lot of heat and wont flourish with out it. The don't start taking off until mid july

I got a hoop house so I will be able to provide heat. Kinda sounds that I could put them out same time as AG's.
