My 1404 felt half full..I did not think it was going to germinate. It did in 36 hrs. Just shedding the seed coat now.
Was your seed fully developed or half full ? I was wondering if this was a characteristic of the 1404 seed

"if" I had a 1404 it "might" have cracked across the top when I filed it. It still "might" have germed in 3 days like all my other seeds.

WiZ, I like your word play on "Little-TON." The 1404 is my best plant so far. Even though the cots were exposed when I received it from the Brysons, it germinated in under 30 hrs. 24 hrs. later it was up.

Put the split seed in....for PLAN B....germed nicely over the weekend...and cots are breaching the soil.....
