How should Castor Seeds be planted?

Castor Bean ? I just put them about one inch deep and had them on a heating pad but thats not mandatory, Ive soaked mine a few hours before planting.
They will grow fast so you should repot often

Oops, I meant castor beans, but thanks. How far apart should they be spaced when planted in the garden?

Thanks baitman, great photo! Planning on planting castor beans around my pumpkin patch because I can only put up a 4' metal fence(too expense) thanks to the Fox Valley Park District.

The roots on that plant were bigger than my wrist and grew 20 feet into the patch,they say castor plants deter moles so maybe thats good.I dont know if it was harmful to my pumpkins, but it probably sucked up a lot of nutrients.

Those stems are woody too. I wonder if they would make good firewood? LOL
