When planting two back-to-back plants in one cloche, how much space do you give between plants? Frank

Frank, last year i did back to back. they were 4 feet apart north to south, and then 2 feet apart east west. then i grew them at each other. for the first 4 feet each plant had secondaries only on one side, then after that the normal x-mas tree pattern. lets see if this works. the X's represent the stumps, and the I's reprsent the main vines

Hey Frank..........if you go to my diary, the 2003 one, I have the back to back situation I think Scott is explaining on a drawing. It will be in the early part of the 2003 diary.
I won't try to explain it here. Get's words all twisted around my eye teeth. Then I can not see what I am saying.
