We had a very sad day yesterday as our dad died. As it was him that taught us how to grow plants when we were kids I felt it was appropriate to mention him in my diary.
This new pink and white lily we have bred just flowered in time for him to see. He was really excited about our first new variety and also so proud of our achievements as growers.
I hope this lily will go to the Chelsea flower show next year.
