At last you get to see how our pumpkins are getting along. All the plants look terrific which is mainly down to sending of a soil sample every 3 or 4 weeks and topping up the nutrients that are a little low. It normally means adding nitrogen but also a little potassium and in one patch the magnesium was a little down. Were about one week behind last year on pollination in general but that should not be a problem. First up is a 1180 which is a massive 24ft out and on day 26 tapes 216lbs. We didn’t set out to set this pumpkin this far out it was just the way it happened.
