We attended a Bonsai Bar event in Boston last evening. They host events at breweries and distilleries in NYC and New England. The trees are Dwarf Jades. The event lasted about two hours and it consists of repotting, breaking down the root ball, trimming roots, securing the plant, adding bonsai soil, wiring, and shaping. The trees will need to repotted in about 10 months. So different as progress is often measured in years. Highly recommended if one of these events is near you.
