I planted these 9.5's in the garden with just cotyledons. Now, I dont like that the slugs have taken out some more plants, but I do like that I can see which plants are the best adapted to my soil/climate.

I'll be selecting based on stem size... since that seems to correlate to future size??

Here there are two with thicker stems and two with smaller stems. I think this is sort of ideal, I can let the larger two grow and later choose which has better first truss mega?

I think starting about 4-6 sprouts in one spot then whittling down to one is the way to go.

The competitions are a long ways off, still. I will probably start a 4th round to fill in any further losses. Slugs, rabbits, & deer are all camping nearby...
