Measured this morning ,and, the pruning seems to have worked. Gone to 77 inches OTT, and quite noticable size increase. Ive also taken to covering the pumpkin both day and night, as I,m of the opinion that keeping it warm does have an effect on the ability of the pumpkin to absorb moisture, while at the same time I,m being careful to allow air circulate around the pumpin to prevent rot.
